AACN Academic Nursing Leadership Conference

Date: October 17–20, 2020

Location: Washington, D.C.

Hundreds of deans, administrators, faculty members, researchers, and students attend AACN’s Academic Nursing Leadership Conference every year to connect and discuss the most important ideas and trends in nursing education. Nursing Education Research Conference

Date: March 26–28, 2020

Location: Washington, D.C.

The theme of this year’s Nursing Education Research Conference is Transforming Nursing Education Through Evidence Translation and Generation. Approximately 600 nurses and nursing educators will go to the conference this year to hear about research that can have a positive impact on clinical outcomes and improve teaching. AACN Deans Annual Meeting

Date: March 21–24, 2020

Location: Washington, D.C.

This conference is open only to the primary Dean/Chair/Director of AACN-Member Schools of Nursing. During the event, 350+ dean-level attendees’ network with one another and discuss ideas and problems related to legislation, funding, and organization that can help their institutions.

Association of Community Nursing Educators 2020

Date: June 4–6, 2020

Location: Louisville, KY

Nursing educators focused on public health and community health come together at this event with students, nurses, and public health leaders to connect and discover how nursing schools can train future nurses for work in public health. Other topics of discussion at the event involve trends in public health nursing education, the role of nurses who focus on population health, and potential opportunities to partner with agencies to promote public and population health.

2020 Annual Nursing Education Accreditation Conference

Date: July 16–18, 2020

Location: Atlanta, GA

Deans, faculty, administrators, and students go to this event to exchange ideas and stay up to date on good practices that make nursing school accreditation effective. Attendees also celebrate their peers’ accomplishments in the field while hearing important lessons from their failures or setbacks.

2020 QSEN International Forum

Date: May 27–29, 2020

Location: Philadelphia, PA

This conference is QSEN’s Quality & Safety Education annual conference for Nurses. Nurses and Nursing educators participate to know about research in teaching that improves quality and safety skills in the field.

Transform 2020

Date: December 3 – 5, 2020

Location: Chicago, IL

This year marks the first time the AACN is hosting Transform 2020. It will focus on surfacing the most important innovations and trends in nursing education, and the AACN is limiting attendance to faculty from baccalaureate and master’s nursing programs.

California Organization of Associate Degree Nursing North/South Nursing Deans & Directors’ Spring Conference

Date: March 4–6, 2020

Location: Monterey, CA

Deans, directors, and faculty from California’s associate degree nursing programs come to this conference to network, discuss best practices and new ideas for associate degree nursing in California, and hear from important speakers like BJ Bart Elson, RN, MS, NEA-BC Vice President of Nursing and Clinical Services, California Hospital Association.

North Carolina Associate Degree Nursing Conference

Date: April 16 –17, 2020

Location: Wrightsville Beach, NC
